Important Notes:

  • If you have multiple ad accounts under the same BM, we recommend that you only select the target ad accounts you want to add this time.

  • Do not uncheck any pre-selected data. Pre-checked ad accounts indicate they were previously authorized to YCloud.

  • You may only revoke authorization for an ad account once you confirm that it will no longer be used.

Click "Got it" to return to the YCloud admin dashboard. You will receive a confirmation message: "Ad account authorization completed."

View Authorized Ad Accounts

You can view your authorized ad accounts in the Ad Account section.

Frequently Asked Questions

chevron-rightQ1:After logging in to my Meta account, I cannot find the Business Manager (BM) or ad account I want to authorize. What should I do?hashtag

Root Cause: Your logged-in Meta account does not have management permissions for the corresponding BM or ad account.

Solution: First, check whether your WABA and ad accounts belong to the same BM.

Analyze based on the following scenarios:

Scenario 1: Ad Account and WABA are under the same BM (Business Portfolio)

The BM administrator should log in to the BM dashboard and authorize the BM and corresponding ad accounts to your Meta account.

Scenario 2: Ad Account and WABA are under different BMs

This occurs when you use an agency to create your Meta ad account.

Example:

  • BM-1: Your company's WABA belongs to this BM.

  • BM-2: Your agency's BM. The ad account you created through the agency belongs to this BM.

Authorization Steps:

Step 1: Log in to BM-1 dashboard and locate the Business Asset ID for BM-1. Provide this ID to your agency.

Step 2: Your agency logs in to BM-2 dashboard and authorizes assets to BM-1:

Grant ad account authorization to BM-1 (Note: You must select "Full Control" permission)

Step 3: Ensure you have ownership or admin rights for BM-1, then proceed with the authorization flow.

  • If your Meta account lacks the required permissions, ask the BM-1 administrator to log in to the BM dashboard and grant your Meta account permission to access the ad accounts under "Users/People.

chevron-rightQ2:When I access the CTWA page, I receive a message saying I need to bind a WABA number. What should I do?hashtag

Navigate to YCloud β†’ WhatsApp Accounts to authorize and bind the corresponding WABA number.

You must perform this operation in Meta's Business Manager (BM) dashboard.

Steps to revoke authorization in Meta Business Manager (BM):

  1. Log in to Meta Business Manager

  2. In the left sidebar menu, select "Users" β†’ "System Users"

  3. Find the system user that YCloud uses (typically the name contains "YCloud" or similar identifier)

  4. In the asset list on the right, locate the ad account you currently have connected and click the "X" or "Remove" button next to it

Important Note:

Once you remove the authorization, YCloud will lose access to that account and no further data associations will be created.

If you want to use this ad account again in the future, you will need to re-authorize it.
