# CTWA Introduction

CTWA (Click to WhatsApp Ads) is an ad format that sends traffic directly into a WhatsApp conversation.&#x20;

With YCloud, you can centrally receive visitor messages from different ad platforms, follow up with leads, and continuously improve ad performance through conversion reporting.

### What Is CTWA

After seeing an ad, users can click the CTA in the ad and go directly to WhatsApp to start a conversation with your business. Compared with the traditional path of “ad > landing page > form submission or callback,” CTWA shortens the conversion path and is especially suitable for businesses focused on consultation, lead generation, and sales conversion.

A typical CTWA journey looks like this:

* A user sees your ad on an ad platform
* The user clicks a CTA such as “Send Message” or “Chat on WhatsApp”
* WhatsApp opens automatically

### What You Should Prepare Before Getting Started
