Location Request Template

This document introduces the location request template and its usage.

The location request template allows you to request the actual location from WhatsApp users. They consist of customizable text header, body, and footer components along with the share location button component. When a WhatsApp user taps the button, a location sharing screen appears, which the user can then use to share their location.

Limitations

• Only templates classified as UTILITY can be created with a send location button

• Templates are limited to one send location button

• Templates with a send location button cannot have other buttons

• Media and location headers are not supported
