Benefits of This Journey
The target audience includes users who reached the payment page, entered the necessary information, but closed the page without successfully completing the payment.
Invite these users to return and finish the checkout process, completing their orders.
Before creating the Journey, you need to create a message template with a Shopify payment link.
Set up the template content, then in the "Buttons" section, select Call to action > Visit Website > Shopify link. Once configured, save the template.
Enter trigger:
When to send: Shopify events_Shopify checkout created
Sender: Select the WhatsApp phone number you have already created.
Audience: No additional restrictions are applied in this use case.
Filter out unsubscribed customers: It is recommended to check this option.
Customer Trigger Limit: Choose "Enter every time the person matches the rules"
Exit trigger:
Exit rules: Shopify events_Shopify order paid
Goal:
This example does not set up any additional goals
Create a Wait component and configure the waiting duration, then connect the Trigger and Wait components.
This defines how long you will wait for the customer to complete the checkout and place the order.
Select the pre-configured message template that includes the Shopify payment link, and assign the appropriate attributes to the variables in the template. Connect the Wait component to complete the Journey creation.
