So why do we collect these event data and pass them to Meta? There are mainly two benefits:
Improves targeting: By tracking with CAPI, you can provide more accurate information for your ad campaigns. This helps the advertising platform understand and improve audience targeting to maximize the performance and effectiveness of your ads. For example, by sharing user events that result in purchases from ad clicks, the ad campaign can continuously optimize audience targeting based on the user profiles of those who made purchases. (This feature is not yet live; YCloud will follow up as soon as Meta allows and notify our customers)
Helps you better understand your audience: By sharing messaging events with Meta through CAPI, you can track, measure, and understand the execution of these events in Meta Ads Manager, gaining deeper insights into the customer journey. For example, you can view the number of purchases and the cost per purchase from ads that lead to WhatsApp clicks. This information can help you make more effective marketing decisions.
Once your ad account is connected to YCloud, we will automatically enable the Conversion API, and you will be able to access them directly in the Event Manager Event Manager.

The corresponding ad account is connected to YCloud
At least one customer has clicked on CTWA and started a conversation
