Getting Started with White Label Partners

In this document, you will find the detailed steps to become a YCloud white-label partner.

YCloud white-label partners can access a full suite of WhatsApp interactive platforms, personalized branded sites, and directly develop their own clientele. YCloud provides product and technical support, with products consistently upgraded and iterated.

Basic Terminology

Before continuing, you need to understand the following terms to better grasp the process of becoming a technology development partner:

Solution Partners (BSP)

BSPs are Meta Business Partners, providing comprehensive WhatsApp Business Platform services to other businesses, such as messaging services, billing, integration support, and customer support.

Solution Partners have a credit limit that they can extend to their business clients, allowing these clients to bypass inputting their own payment methods during the onboarding process. Additionally, Solution Partners can obtain direct support.

YCloud is a BSP.

Tech Providers

Tech Providers are akin to BSPs; they can also offer a full suite of WhatsApp Business Platform services to other companies, either providing these services themselves or working with existing BSPs.

However, unlike BSPs, Tech Providers do not have a credit limit. Instead, business clients introduced by Tech Providers must provide their payment methods post-onboarding. Meta will then charge these clients directly for API usage, while the Tech Provider charges for additional services.

Moreover, Tech Providers cannot obtain direct support.

White-Label Partners

Gain access to a fully functional WhatsApp interactive platform, similar to what you see on YCloud, customized with your branding, including domain address, site name, logo, theme colors, and more.

Without spending a minute on development, gain all the features of the YCloud platform, which took 3 years to build, and resell it to your clients.

This is suitable for teams looking to resell a fully functional WhatsApp engagement platform under their own brand, such as CPaaS companies, branding and marketing solution providers, etc.

As a white-label partner, you can freely choose whether to also become WhatsApp Tech Providers. This is not mandatory; it only affects whether your name appears in the embedded signup. You just need to consider whether you want to invest significant effort and time to achieve this.

Embedded Signup

Embedded Signup is an authentication and authorization interface that automatically generates all necessary WhatsApp assets for your business clients and authorizes your application to access these assets.

During the Embedded Signup process, the brand names of both the BSP and Tech Providers will appear.

Step 1: Submit Partnership Application

Visit the YCloud partner page to submit the application form: https://www.ycloud.com/zh/partner

The YCloud business team will contact you within 1 business day.

Step 2: Register YCloud Account

Before starting, you need to register a YCloud account and inform the YCloud business team of the email address you used to register. We will enable white-label partner permissions for you.

Step 3: Configure Custom Domain

You will need to provide two sub-domains (usually third-level domains) as custom domains for the console (https://www.ycloud.com/console) and API (https://api.ycloud.com).
